The TOUCAN Mobile – 10.1″ is the industrial multimedia tablet from BRESSNER Technology GmbH and offers optimal conditions for industrial use due to its sturdiness and performance. It is specifically designed for operations even in the harshest environments and captures, processes and transmits data reliably. Whether in production, warehousing, rail and air traffic, maritime or emergency services – the rugged tablet PCs are both structurally and technically designed to fit the tough conditions in industrial fields of application.

Powerful hardware & outdoor display with tempered glass

The TOUCAN Mobile – 10.1″ rugged tablet features an Intel® Atom® x5-E3940, quad-core CPU processor. A fast embedded Multi Media Card (eMMC) with 64GB (up to a maximum of 256GB) and 4GB of RAM and a capacitive multi-touch display form the perfect base for daily use in industrial environments. Well protected behind Corning Gorilla Glass lies the 10.1″ screen, which – with 2560 x 1600 pixels – enables a razor-sharp display of all applications.

Extremely sturdy rugged tablet with many features

Due to a wide range of features such as WiFi, WiDi, BT, GPS, NFC support and an optional 3G/LTE module, the rugged tablet PC can be individually adapted to the given requirements. A micro SD slot is also available as well as 1x USB 3.1 Type-C port, a 3.5 mm audio jack / MicroUSB port. The integrated 8.0 megapixel camera on the device’s back captures photos, videos and documents in excellent quality. On the front, there is an additional 2.0 megapixel camera for applications like video communication. With dimensions of 269 x 180.7 x 12.5 mm and a weight of only 765g, the rugged tablet is easy to transport and can be operated without a hassle.

Latest operating system and high protection class

The TOUCAN Mobile is delivered with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019. The IP65 protection class guarantees maximum protection against dust and splash water. Flawless operation of the devices is guaranteed in a temperature range of -10 °C to approximately + 50 °C and at a humidity of 10 to 90 percent. The devices can survive a fall onto concrete floors withou taking any damage thanks to the shock-resistant housing. Equipped with a special cover, the tablets can even withstand drops of up to 1.8 meters without damage. The lithium-polymer batteries enable an operating time of up to nine hours. The devices last up to twenty days in standby and up to four weeks in airplane mode.
