The WADE-8017 is a highly performant Mini-ITX board that is equipped with the sixth generation of the Intel Core Desktop Processors – also known as Skylake – in combination with a LGA1151 socket. The CPU harmonizes perfectly with the Intel Q170 Chipset that delivers an improved architecture to users. The modern AMI uFEI BIOS (SPI ROM) is utilized as firmware. The two SODIMM sockets can be equipped with up to 32 GB – DDR4 ECC or Non-ECC SDRAM.
Connectivity options for fast memory devices and many more
The available interface options cover any industrial requirements. The embedded board offers six interface options for fast memory devices via SATA-III. Especially SSD devices profit from the high speed of up to six Gigabyte per second, however the Board also supports RAID 0, 1, and 5. For the connection of peripheral devices four ports with fast USB 3.0 and two ports with USB 2.0 are available. Furthermore, the Board offers modern PCI Express 3.0 and Mini-PCIe slots, as well as a M.2 extension socket and six COM Ports for older hardware. Two Gigabit-Ethernet-Ports provide for an uncomplicated integration into networks. Up to three independent video sources can be connected to the Board vie DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort.
