Touch display hardware for harsh environments
Industrial touch displays enable a comfortable and safe human-machine communication even in environments in which conventional keyboards reach their limits. Largely impervious to dust, dirt and moisture, a touchscreen is suitable for a wide range of applications. This includes device-, machine- and system control, agricultural machinery and forklifts, in kiosk systems and information terminals, but also in building automation. Modern multi-touch monitors are able to recognize multiple touches at the same time and convert them into commands (capacitive touchscreens recognize up to ten simultaneous touches).

Best-suited design variations for your application
Regarding the enclosure type of your display, you have the choice between panel mount, chassis type, open frame and rack mount for industrial touch displays. With the latter, you can even integrate the touchscreen into a server rack. For bright surroundings and outdoor use, e.g. for point-of-sales terminals, as a kiosk system or for digital signage, we recommend models with increased sunlight readability, which due to their particularly high brightness and high contrast offer best user experiences in outdoor environments.

Our chassis type panel PC systems are available with a wide variety of industrial-grade interfaces. In addition to common serial connections, there are also M12-certified plugs, IP65-certified plugs and entire covers protecting your connections from external influences. In most cases, custom video, audio, Ethernet, or serial ports can be added.

Protected against harsh environments and external influences
Our systems have different IP protection classes for a wide range of industrial applications. In addition, special ATEX panel PC models are also available for potentially explosive areas. You can choose from certified IP65, IP66 (display front or full) as well as optional IP69K and ATEX panel PCs. Resistive touchscreens are especially suited for use with latex gloves in production facilities and mechanical engineering.
