Description
Industrial-grade Panel PCs for maritime environments
The industrial-grade marine PPC (Panel PC) systems are equipped with powerful Intel® Core i7-3517UE processors up to 1.7GHz. An effective cooling system ensures a constant computing power even at ambient temperatures from -15 °C to 55 °C. Due to their rugged chassis the Marine Bridge systems have an increased shock and vibration resistance. The front panel, which offers standard IP66, is protected against dust and water jets and thus, paired with an IP54-protected rear panel, offers high reliability with low maintenance. This makes the Marine Bridge Panel PCs particularly suitable for installation in the communication system of a ship.
Resistive touch screen with SAW touch as alternative
A resistive or SAW touch version with a display sizes of either 15″, 17″, 19″ or 24″ is available as an option. A maximum resolution of 1920 × 1080 dots and a brightness of up to 400 cd/m² offer high luminosity and clear readability. All models have a 15-pin D-Sub VGA input and an HDMI port for connecting an external display.
Flexible interface options
The Marine PPC systems are equipped with a SODIMM module with a maximum of 8GB DDR3 RAM memory. A mSATA SSD with a capacity of 64GB is used as hard disk (with higher capacities as an option). One COM ports RS-232 and one RS232/422/485 are available as serial interfaces. Additionally, two USB 3.0 (Type A) ports offer further possibilities for user-dependent connection of peripheral devices. Two RJ45 Gigabit LAN ports provide for networking with local instances. An included VESA mounting bracket also enables secure mounting on walls, flush-mounting or control panels. An external 100 W power supply unit for 9 V to 36 V is included with the Panel PC.
