SYSBAS Multi-2/USB Combo – USB to 2-Port Serial Adpater
Easily and quickly add additional serial ports to your system via the USB port. SYSBAS Multi-2/USB Combo deliver maximum performance up to 921.6 Kbps. Combine that with the need for fewer components and you get cost-effective and reliable connections to your serial devices. The USB-to-serial multiports support most Windows and Linux operating systems and feature 15,000 volt surge protection to prevent port burnout.
The SYSBAS Multi-2/USB Combo includes a 2-port panel with a DB9 connector and is available in two versions, RS232 and RS422/RS485. Simply plug in the USB connector and you have a COM port for connecting modems, printers, barcode scanners or any other serial device.
Connection panel:
The Multi-2/USB plugs into the USB port on your system. The connector panel has two DB9 connectors and is available with support for either RS232 or RS422/RS485. LEDs next to the connector indicate the communication status of the ports. No additional power supply is required.
Supports USB specification revision 2.0:
The Multi-2/USB supports revision 2.0 and is compatible with revision 1.1
15KV Overvoltage Protection – Built-in:
Don’t risk blown connections and downtime. The Multi-2/USB has a built-in 15,000 volt surge protector that protects against voltage spikes and blown connections for more reliable communication.
