Description

AI-Blox – Industrial Edge AI platform with NVIDIA® Jetson^™ TX2 NX

The MX1020-1 is an industrial embedded AI computer based on the NVIDIA® Jetson^™ TX2 NX. The device has an anodised aluminium housing that also functions as a heatsink. This provides passive cooling to the unit so no fan is required. The device is designed to operate in an ambient temperature range of -25°C to +60°C. The MX1020-1 features a mounting bracket. The MX1020-2 is the same model version, but features a touch screen instead of a mounting bracket. Both units are IP67 rated. Depending on the add-on modules, a fully IP67-compliant system can be realised.

Many expansion options

The system features 2 expansion slots. One of them is a dedicated socket for data transmission and can be used to add various communication options to the module. Additional communication options can be realised via the mPCIe and/or M.2 connector. The following communication options are supported:

• 4G LTE cat 4 with integrated GNSS module
• WiFi
• Bluetooth
• Gigabit Ethernet

The second expansion slot is an interface socket. This slot can be used to add different types of external I/O depending on the application requirements. The following I/O modules are currently available:

• 6 x Mipi
• 4 x USB 3.0
• 4 x Ethernet (PoE)
• 4 x Gige (Q1 2023)
• Lidar (Q4 2022)

Customized module design

If your application requires a special module, you can of course develop your own custom module. The design files can be requested freely in the Developer area of BRESSNER Technology. If you do not have the necessary resources to develop your own module, please contact us. We will be happy to support you in adapting the system to the requirements of your application.
