Using our freely programmable embedded modules of the Digi XBee® ecosystem and system-on-modules, wireless communication can be easily integrated into any framework. The former includes, for example, RF modules with various Wi-Fi and Bluetooth protocols and form factors, XBee® cellular modems for OEM devices with older cellular standards and industrial gateways as well as certified RF modems for remote monitoring of production sites.
With the Digi ConnectCore® series, BRESSNER Technology also offers various wireless solutions, including 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth® 5 and mobile phone options. The SOMs are based on NXP i.MX 8X, NXP i.MX6UL or NXP i.MX6 processor structures and support embedded Android and Linux developer environments including Yocto Project. The edge computing platforms contain out-of-the-box software components that enable the implementation of cloud services, machine learning as well as image, video and audio processing applications.
Wireless data exchange between machines and other systems is still an important topic in industrial communication. By that, we offer wireless M2M routers, cellular routers and VPN concentrators which are particularly interesting for industries such as automation and manufacturing processes, traffic monitoring or smart grid assets.
The extended product portfolio of DIGI International is available on our website for both commercial and industrial use. Choose your favorite cellular M2M solution from the mobile communication standards 3G, 4G LTE and LTE-Advanced (LTE-A). Whether routers, gateways or VPN devices, our wireless network solutions enable secure data transfer, e.g. PCI compatible point of sale (POS), failover, data acquisition and remote management via the easy-to-use DIGI Remote Manager.
The serial interface, amongst other interaces, is an established connectivity option in industrial applications. To ensure appropriate connectivity even with this standard, we offer a variety of external device servers, IA device servers, serial cards, adapters and many more.
Thanks to the DIGI Console servers, we enable our customers secure access to any network device, even in case of network failure. That way, up to 48 different network devices can be managed at a central interface via standard RJ-45 RS-232 connection and configured with DIGI Remote Manager.
By using network-attached USB over IP hubs you can connect up to 14 USB peripheral devices with a PC via local-area-network. Furthermore, we offer USB to serial converters, Hubport | Powered USBs and remote display connections for your industrial applications.
Equipped with a variety of features, OS support and reliable performance, the USB hubs are perfect for sensitive applications. Multi-host connections allow multiple host PCs to connect to the DIGI AnywhereUSB hub concurrently. This allows remote workspaces to be managed without a local PC, e.g. kiosk systems, ATMs, restaurant kitchens, manufacturing lines or non-secure areas.
DIGI’s medical serial server such as the Connect ES series are compatible with IEC 60601 3rd Edition and consist of four or eight galvanically isolated RS-232 serial ports, amongst others. Connect ES is used in applications that provide Ethernet connections from serial devices to the central data management system.
DIGI’s patented RealPort® COM port redirector technology makes it possible to establish a connection between the host and a networked serial device by creating a local COM or TTY port on the host computer, allowing existing software applications to work without modification.
