The PCIe x1 Gen2 Host PCIe cable adapter installs easily into a computer’s PCIe slot. A PCIe cable can then be plugged into the adapter to extend the PCIe bus from the motherboard to an external device, like an expansion enclosure or storage device. The PCIe x1 adapter extends the PCIe bus at 500 Mb/s with extremely low latency because there is no conversion software.

About PCI Express Interfaces
